Hi, I'm Chloe Jade Cahill, a BSc Computing for Business graduate from Dublin City University with a 2:1 grade. I have a very strong foundation in Python and Full Stack Web Development. I have 8 months of professional technical support experience in a government environment, where I efficiently resolved high-volume ticket queues and supported over 4,500 end users, and I am passionate about both computing and the business side of computing. I’ve always had a passion for technology since I was young and studying at DCU I have grown to enjoy the satisfaction of problem-solving and the hard work that comes with studying programming languages. During my final year project, I challenged myself to building a full-stack social media planner application called BusyBee. Built using Django framework, REST APIs, JavaScript, and Python, the project integrated traditional calendar capabilities, social media features, and live event discovery through the Ticketmaster API. I developed the calendar from scratch and added features such as real-time event coordination with friends, an event recommendation algorithm, organiser analytics, and much more. This hands-on experience deepened my understanding of coding, project management, problem-solving, and integrating third-party services. It has allowed me to become more organised, time-efficient, and forward-thinking. I’m now looking to apply my technical skills and business knowledge into a real-world project. With a solid foundation in computing and industry experience supporting large-scale users, I’m excited to continue growing as a developer and contribute to projects to expand my knowledge.
