I’m Dorian Kelly, a composer and musician. My early years were rooted in trumpet and piano, and I studied at the Royal College of Music (London) Junior Department and at Trinity College of Music (London). I built a freelance trumpet career, performing with artists such as Frank Sinatra, Shirley Bassey, Neil Diamond, Jamie Cullum, The Temptations and The Drifters, at venues including The Royal Albert Hall, The Festival Hall, Glastonbury and the Monte Carlo Sporting Club. Since 2005 I have focused on composition, setting up my own studio and writing music for over 30 short films, animations and documentaries, with more than 250 tracks published and broadcast internationally on Sky, Netflix, BBC2, ITV2, ITVBe, Discovery Channel, E! News and more. I hold ALCM and LLCM (in Composition) from the London College of Music, and I have worked in a team of composers creating music and sound effects for an interactive toy for Mamas and Papas.
