I’m a senior full-stack engineer in Vancouver, focused on building production systems end-to-end—from API design and data pipelines to cloud deployment and AI integration. Over the last 20+ years, I’ve shipped React/Next.js and Node.js/Python (FastAPI) applications for SaaS and cloud products, and over recent years I’ve leaned hard into agentic AI, RAG pipelines (including LLM-Wiki style knowledge systems), and multimodal workflows.
I enjoy owning complex services that have real reliability and scale requirements: designing microservices/event-driven architectures, setting up ETL/ELT data flows, and integrating LLM providers based on latency, cost, and enterprise constraints. In roles across North America and Asia, I’ve built and optimized backends that process very large volumes of events, and I currently lead efforts that combine conversational AI, document intelligence, memory-aware workflows, and multi-media AI capabilities into practical products.
