James Bladon has worked as a professional music editor for 32 years. In that time he has won the Motion Picture Sound Editor’s prestigious Golden Reel award and earned multiple Emmy Award nominations. Starting in animation in the 1990s, he accrued several years of learning the craft of music editing before joining the Motion Picture Editor’s Guild in 1998. He has served as music editor for several feature films, but the majority of his career has been in television. James has worked on projects of all genres with an emphasis on one hour dramas, completing close to 900 episodes of television in all. He has collaborated on projects with composers such as Hans Zimmer, Steve Jablonsky, Harry Gregson Williams, and Charlie Clouser of Nine Inch Nails, to name a few. James is a member of the Superego comedy podcast where he created , edited and performed in the Superego: Forgotten Classics podcast.
