Hi! My name’s Lisa, I’m from the Gold Coast, and I’m a composer, arranger, and music editor for film and stage and a violin/piano private tutor who loves creating evocative works for any of these mediums and also to inspire and touch the heart of my listeners. Software that I currently use are Cubase 14, Sibelius Ultimate, and DaVinci Resolve with sound libraries from LABs, Native Instruments to Cubase's own synth collection just to name a few! Some of my all-time favourite composers include Harry Gregson Williams, Hans Zimmer, Evan Call, Howard Shore and Claude Debussy. I hold a Bachelor of Music specialised in composition at the Queensland Conservatorium Griffith University being under the guidance of Israeli award-winning composer, Dr Yitzhak Yedid and previously, Australian composer Gerard Brophy. During my studies, I involved myself in activities such as a filmmaking bootcamp with a fabulous team of student filmmakers set in outback Winton, QLD to create a short film, Eat Sand, which won the Audience Choice Award at the Vision Splendid Film Festival and later Best Cinematography at the Australia Youth Film Festival. In late 2024, I’ve also had the great opportunity to create original music alongside other talented fellow composers for Centacare’s haunting yet comical play, Quavers, performed by people with disabilities at the Queensland Performing Arts Centre which was an insightful and wonderful experience! Other than composing, I locally tutor students of a variety of ages imparting my experience and knowledge to help and enhance their playing and love for music. A few of my hobbies include reading, watching movies, playing tennis, and learning Japanese. I also enjoy serving at my church as a visual media operator and violinist. ________________________________________ Employment and project experience: Composer - Euphoric Flow Entertainment Sometime in this year, 2026 :D Composer, Music Editor and Violinist - Euphoric Flow Entertainment April - June 2025 Composer - Centacare May - October 2024 Composition/Filmmaking – Outback Filmmaking Bootcamp in Winton, QLD June - July 2024
