Working in a small team made up of designers, videographers and copywriters; we’re given the opportunity to manage our own projects and work directly with the client in a collaborative process. My role at PHNX is almost exclusively in branding – designing wordmarks customised from pre-existing typefaces, or creating custom wordmarks from scratch. I’m involved throughout the duration of the project, from the initial meeting, through to project completion. I work with, and mentor, a junior copywriter and designer on most projects; helping them flesh out chosen concepts across collateral and websites, and keeping a consistent tone-of-voice and messaging across all branding.
