Being a mother of three has helped me view life from different perspectives. From my varied exposure to people facing such challenges, my area of interest lies with clients with communication difficulties in both adults and children, specifically those with speech difficulties (for example apraxia of speech, speech sound disorders and dysarthria). Similarly, I’ve always been intrigued with neuroscience and the role that it plays in communication. It is in this interest that I feel passionately that I can prove to be a value add to your organization. My clinical attachments and working experience with clients and their families have convinced me that my career path as a Speech-Language Therapist is truly my pursuit. I derive the greatest satisfaction from responding to their needs. I am known for my ability to build an easy rapport with others and work exceptionally well with my colleagues. I am valued for my flexible, accommodating and sprightly demeanour. However, I believe that my strength lies in my unsurpassed commitment to be of service to humankind and to do the best that I can to help them improve their quality of life despite their communicative and swallowing challenges.
