Fedearroz through its ETC project and its commercial expansion plan to support rice farmers has built 2 rice mills in the departments of Casanare and Meta in order to offer the services of threshing, grinding and packaging at moderate prices helping the farmer to carry out the marketing of the grain. In order to systematize the money processes, a study and analysis of each process was carried out, detecting the strategic points that will allow the automated monitoring of the activities carried out by each machine and person. The result of this project was the formulation of a technological project for Fedearroz in which the plant’s activities were standardized through protocols and thus implemented software that would cover the needs of the Fedearroz administration.

The EcoProMIS (Ecological Production Management Information System) project received funding from the UK Space Agency to study the impact of crop and ecosystem management on biodiversity, greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions and productivity.
