Built document retrieval + Q&A system with ingestion, embedding generation, FAISS indexing, and LLM response. Tuned chunking and top-k retrieval to improve answer relevance and reduce latency. Developed Flask APIs with structured outputs, validation, and logging for reliable inference workflows.

Data Scientist Intern at Altair

Built anomaly detection models with feature engineering and evaluated using ROC-AUC. Tuned thresholds based on precision-recall tradeoff to improve real-world detection. Packaged inference as APIs with reproducible preprocessing for batch and near real-time use.

Worked on deploying Generative AI models using Google Vertex AI for internal document search and Q&A use cases. Exposed model inference through REST APIs for integration with downstream applications. Assisted in improving inference latency through prompt adjustments and configuration tuning.
