As an artist, I’ve always enjoyed picking up new creative interests easily, and after my GCSEs in 2016 I began developing an even wider passion for game and film art. While I feel confident in all forms of concept art, I tend to be drawn to environment work because of the opportunities within the creative process and the ability to use a wide mix of media that I genuinely enjoy. I’m especially inspired by fantasy and dark fantasy, both in games and film—those worlds show up strongly in the colours and shapes I create. Recently, I’ve also been gaining interest in older and newer movies and games in genres I hadn’t really explored before, and that curiosity often influences my work and makes me excited about how my art will keep developing.
