Lead Game Programmer at Texas A&M University - Summer Game Studio

Acted as the Lead Game Programmer on a team of five peers for a ten-week course. Designed the main character for the game including the creation of key design assets such as concept art and turnaround design. Maximized the enhancement of puzzle and level design by generating concepts for the planet-inspired level and various in-game props. Developed and implemented puzzle interactions, including the pressure plate system, makeshift bridge mechanic, gravity-based items, pick-up/drop system, and key collection and gate mechanics.

Led on a team of six students in game design and programming throughout a fifteen-week period. Conceptualized the four underlying mini-games loosely based on real applied sciences used by forensic analysts. Developed the ballistic, fingerprint, and substance analysis mini-games, covering programming, UI/UX, modeling, and surfacing. Implemented intuitive screen flow to facilitate seamless player navigation within the game. Created an item inspection mechanic, enabling players the ability to pick up and rotate objects by its center point for examination. Employed a mechanic that creates a material overlay on all items of interest throughout the game.

Collaborated within a three-member team to develop a projection-based augmented reality ordering system. Served as the representative of the project at the LAVAL VIRTUAL conference in Laval, France. Implemented OpenCV template matching techniques to detect ingredient symbols within the webcam feed, updating the holographic display accordingly, ensuring real-time accuracy. Conducted testing and tuned projections to enhance user experience, adapting to varying lighting conditions and environments.
