I am Susan Hassmann, a passionate freelance illustrator who fell in love with drawing from a very young age. After graduating from Fashion School in Stuttgart in 1985, I started my career as a fashion designer, which laid the foundation for my work in editorial, beauty, and fashion illustration. Since 2001, I’ve been working as an illustrator, collaborating with magazines, advertisers, and publishers, especially within the beauty, cosmetics, and fashion sectors. Together with my husband, I founded Schloß Lautereck Design in 2008. Currently, I’m excited to start teaching painting and drawing to children at an art school.
