On the concept of a one-word brief (“Reflection”), we commissioned three top-tier US photographers to complete a visual project using only the Samsung device, accompanied by behind the scenes shots of the artist in action for seamless device integration.
In 2018, adidas partnered with Rizzoli and Stan Smith to publish the book “Some People Think I’m A Shoe”. Being part of the book creation process, working with both Juergen Teller and Stan Smith, and seeing the final book come to life was incredibly rewarding.
The biggest treat for this project was to plan the launch, which kicked off with an exclusive dinner for press, family and friends of the adidas family during New York Fashion Week, followed by a signing tour at adidas flagship stores globally, as well as special events at the US Open, Dover Street Market and the V&A Museum.
One of the highlights of this tour was a London Fashion Week activation with Stella McCartney at Stella’s flagship store on Bond Street, which was attended by fashion and entertainment industry veterans such as Anna Wintour, Madonna and Edward Enninful.
On October 30th, adidas, Palace, and Juventus debuted their collaborative collection on-field at a match between Juventus and Genoa. Teased with Juventus social posts of players wearing collaborative product, the collaboration was officially introduced with a pre-game stadium takeover featuring Palace-themed lights and banners, and capped off by the roster wearing the product on-field. The collaboration news amassed almost a half a billion readers, and peaked directly following the match, rising again following the release of the humorous campaign creative.
