    paper an eternal southern spring (Commissioned by Jacob Nance)

    For alto saxophone and piano. Commissioned by saxophonist Jacob Nance, originally premiered and recorded using a jazz setup. This ambient, bittersweet, contemporary jazz-influenced piece requires both players to sing and improvise at points. A programmatic work that details a night spent moongazing in rural North Carolina, when the world seemed to be ending. The studio version was recorded, mixed, and mastered by Nick Zoulek.

    paper Point Breaks (commissioned by SiP Duo)

    Commissioning project for the saxophone duo, SiP (Saxophone in Progress), released on the album Saxophone Progress in 2025. Originally composed for live performance and premiered in East Lansing in 2023. Drum ‘n’ Bass/Breakcore-influenced piece for alto sax, bari sax, and fixed electronics. Composed the saxophone parts and produced/mixed the backing track. The final studio recording was recorded, mixed, and mastered by Tyler Young.

    paper Factory Reset

    Factory Reset is a 3D Top-Down Tactics Roguelike where the player assembles and modifies a squad of robots that battle with teams of defective robots by engaging in turn-based combat on 3x3 grids.

    Create your team from 12 different robot chassis to choose from. Upgrade them with 24 weapons and cores, each providing a unique ability. Strategically position your units, and make sure to protect your base while destroying the enemy. Can you make it to the end and challenge the leader of the defective robots?

    paper Unicycle Samurai

    Unicycle Samurai is a bloody yet light-hearted, local 2-player jousting game built around outmaneuvering your opponent and collecting powerups in four exciting arenas.

    Twins in feudal Japan woke a tanuki (trickster spirit) with their loud, incessant arguing; enraged, it flung them through time and space, cursing them to fight atop strange one-wheeled contraptions. They wander through eternity from arena to arena, continuing to fight over whose fault it was.

    Will these two ever break the curse, or are they doomed to fight eternally?

    C.A.R.D.WARE is a 3D, turn-based stealth game where you play as a hitman robot tasked to collect parts from your target. Controlling the player’s movements and actions with cards, play your way through a variety of levels while building your deck of cardware.
