I am Mithun Venkatesh Mohankumar, a research student at Université du Québec à Chicoutimi (UQAC), currently pursuing a PhD in Multimodal AI that combines LLMs with raw timeseries data. I’m building RAG pipelines for PDF documents, prototyping with mini language models, and developing retrieval evaluation frameworks to measure accuracy. I enjoy adopting mini LLMs for rapid prototyping and exploring reinforcement learning based policy planning, including Deep Q-learning for game automation. My independent research includes vision-based parsing of 2D floor plans for symbol detection, wall junction prediction, and floor plan annotation.
