Build and maintain features for the analytics platform using React on the front end and Node.js with Express on the back end. Work with the data team to turn raw analytics pipelines into dashboards that clients can actually read, including reusable chart components and filter logic. Design REST APIs and PostgreSQL schemas for new features, and integrate them with existing MongoDB collections used by older parts of the system. Implement JWT authentication and role-based access controls across services. Participate in sprint planning, code reviews, and release work using GitHub Actions for CI/CD. Mentor two junior developers on React patterns and how to write tests that don't break on every refactor.

Managed my own time, scope, and client communication, which taught me a lot about setting realistic estimates and pushing back on scope creep. Continued working while pursuing my masters and relocated to Ireland in September 2023 for my Masters.
