In November of 2024, I worked on composing the soundtrack for the short film “Feijão Arroz” (Bean Rice), directed by Julia Odara, as part of the course conclusion paper for the Cinema and Audiovisual students at PUCPR. The film explores themes of career and vocation, featuring a cook as the protagonist who reminisces about her past while preparing a family recipe. The soundtrack seeks to convey the nostalgic feeling that fuels a passion for her work in the present. I was responsible for the entire process, including musical composition, instrument recording, mixing, and mastering of the soundtrack.
During 2024, I worked on composing the soundtrack for the short film “Um Monstro e Meia” (A Monster and a Half), directed by Mariana Leal and Rama Rambo, as part of the course conclusion paper for the Cinema and Audiovisual students at PUCPR. The film explores themes of loss, loneliness, and friendship, with a child protagonist who meets an animated monster during a difficult time. The soundtrack seeks to convey this childlike world in a sensitive and hopeful manner. I was responsible for the entire process, including musical composition, instrument recording, mixing, and mastering of the soundtrack.
