My name is Yukiko Tsutsui, a native Japanese vocalist with extensive experience in professional recording, live performance, and vocal instruction. I deliver high-quality studio recordings and adapt to diverse musical styles and production requirements, from pop and rock to jazz and folk. I work from a professional home studio and can follow remote direction to meet project timelines, delivering dry, raw mono WAV files (48 kHz, 24-bit) when needed. I’ve performed with professional a cappella groups in Tokyo, composed and recorded music for TV commercials, and performed at festivals and events across Japan and Canada. I’ve been a back-up vocalist/keyboardist for a Japanese Elvis tribute band and have collaborated with JUNO Award-winning guitarist Donné Roberts. Notably, I was selected to perform the Japanese National Anthem at the Ricoh Woodbine Mile (2018, 2019), with the performance broadcast nationally on TSN. I also teach vocal technique and tailor lessons to suit each student’s style and goals.
