Hi, I’m Ash—a graphic designer focused on branding, illustration, and storytelling for small businesses and creatives. I love turning ideas into clear, functional brands and I bring hands-on collaboration, realistic timelines, and a can-do attitude to every project. My work spans logo design, brand identity, packaging, and social media assets. I’m always learning—experimenting with new techniques in Canva, Figma, and Blender—so I can help clients tell their stories visually and grow their audiences.

    From Eden Photography - Branding
Skye, the owner of From Eden Photography is a very girly-girl and was struggling to find a graphic designer who would understand her vision. Her worry was that she’d be discouraged from bringing in too much of her own aesthetic to her branding, as she loves pastels and anything kawaii. The challenging part of this project was Skye Eden’s love for pastel colours. They are lovely to look at but when it comes to accessibility - nightmare! I want everyone to enjoy a good design that’s both usable and visually pleasing. I used dark cherry red borders to make sure the elements stand out which also gave the design this anime-like crispness. Accessibility checkers are our friends, not enemies :)
    CAWS Riot - Logo Design
One day when I was buying cheese in the market I got into a conversation with the owner of the shop (Michelle, the “Cheese lady”). We both like to think about it as fate because we clicked instantly and the ideas started flowing! Even though the owner of Caws Riot, Michelle, is an artist herself, she needed help with her cheese-monger’s branding. After all, it’s hard to see the label of the jar you’re sitting in! She wanted her company to be represented by a maximalist, illustrative brand mark that captures the rich history of the local area of Carmarthen. Before I even started sketching, I had to research the cheese industry of Carmarthen. It’s one of those things that you’d never think about on your own but once you start learning about it - let me tell you, it could be a movie!
    Boo's Kitchen - Rebrand
While working as a chef for a local café I created an updated logo, hand drawn florals for cups, vouchers, and a new menu design. The owner painted the door orange and it was non-negotiable :P This was my first time designing for print and to the very specific requirements of my boss. It was very rewarding to see the whole team re-invigorated by the new branding.
Grievia - Branding, Illustrations, Social Media Templates and Website
Grievia is an ongoing volunteering project I’m involved in. They are a lovely bunch of people working on developing a platform that can guide users through dealing with grief. They are starting from 0 so it’s a great chance to work from the very basic designs and build up on them. This project has a much different tone of voice than what I’ve done in the past. I had to develop the brand identity to strike that delicate balance between serious and approachable. Their original website was dull and full of stock pictures. Understanding that they have limited funds and buying good quality stock photos would be a strain on them, I pivoted towards a hand drawn set of simple illustrations of various symbols associated with grief. I wanted to give them a more down-to-earth, imperfect look to push the self care/improvement narrative a little further. Working with Grievia I had a chance to implement a lot of things I learned from the UX design course I did back in the day and from the Marketing teams I worked with in the past. My goal is to take the bland, cold infographic style space and make it cosy, interactive and human.
