    uniE608 Jack Colton - Gertrude - Mix & Master
This project began with a client who brought in a strong song idea built around a simple, stripped-back arrangement of guitars, vocals, and a foundational rhythm of stomps and claps. From there, I developed the track into a full production, adding bass guitar, live drums, and organ to enhance the depth, energy, and overall musicality. A key focus throughout the process was preserving the soul and intimacy of the original idea while expanding it into a more complete and dynamic listening experience. By approaching the project from a production-first mindset, I was able to shape the mix as the arrangement evolved. This allowed for a more cohesive final result, as each added element was introduced with intention and balance already in mind. The end result is a fully realized track that maintains the emotional core of the original demo while delivering the impact and polish expected from a professional production. If you have a song idea you’d like to develop into a full production, feel free to reach out. I’d be happy to help bring your vision to life.
uniE608 The Vilchez Brothers - The Blood Philosopher - Mixing and Mastering
My client brought me a powerful modern rock track with a strong emotional direction and a clear vision for a polished, cinematic, and impactful sound. The goal was to elevate the production into something larger, wider, and more immersive while still preserving the raw emotion and intensity of the original performance. One of the biggest challenges in this mix was balancing density and energy without sacrificing clarity. The arrangement featured layered guitars, atmospheric production elements, dynamic transitions, and heavily stacked vocals that all needed to coexist without competing for space. I spent a significant amount of time shaping the low end, controlling buildup in the low-mids, and creating depth through automation, ambience, and stereo placement to help the mix feel expansive while remaining focused and punchy. The vocals required extensive detailed work throughout the production. This included vocal tuning, timing alignment, cleanup, and carefully blending multiple layers to create a modern, emotionally driven vocal sound that could stay present and impactful within a dense instrumental arrangement. Special attention was given to vocal effects, transitions, and texture to help enhance key emotional moments throughout the song. Throughout the process, I worked closely with the client to refine the overall vision, experimenting with subtle production enhancements, dynamics, and atmosphere to help elevate the song without losing the character and intent of the original track. The final result is a polished, release-ready mix and master with strong dynamics, controlled low end, wide and immersive depth, powerful vocal presence, and modern commercial impact that translates consistently across playback systems. If you’re looking for a mix that balances emotion, power, clarity, and modern production while still respecting the identity of your music, I’d love to help bring your vision to life.

uniE608 Jack Colton - Broken Record - Mix & Master
This project was for a returning client who brought in a beautifully written country track built around a sparse, acoustic arrangement with stomps, claps, and tambourine providing the rhythmic foundation. While the core production had a strong emotional identity, there was an opportunity to enhance the dynamic movement of the song. To support this, I introduced live drums and bass guitar, helping to create greater contrast between sections and guide the listener through a more engaging emotional arc. This added depth and energy without taking away from the intimacy of the original arrangement. The source recordings were captured well, which allowed the mixing process to stay focused on refinement rather than correction. I performed some light vocal timing adjustments to tighten key sections, along with subtle pitch correction to ensure consistency while maintaining a natural performance. The final result is a balanced, dynamic mix that builds naturally, supports the storytelling, and translates well across different listening environments. If you're looking to elevate your track while staying true to your original vision, feel free to reach out. I’d be happy to chat about your project.
uniE608 Just Roverto Rossi - Reality - Mix & Master
My client approached me to help put the finishing touches on their song production. They already had a strong foundation and solid ideas, but the track needed focus — something to bring each part together with purpose and intention. I worked closely with them to refine the arrangement so that every element served the song. We added tasteful layers like ukulele and organ, and simplified some of the lead guitar lines to create space and direction. I also had the client double-track certain rhythm parts to enhance the stereo image, allowing the arrangement to expand as the song built in energy. Each repeated section was given new details and ear candy to keep the listener engaged and create excitement throughout the track. By the time production wrapped up, the mix practically fell into place — proof that thoughtful production sets the stage for a great mix. On the technical side, I performed extensive automation of delays, reverbs, and volume to ensure every instrument had its moment to shine while staying balanced within the overall mix. The end result was a dynamic, cohesive song that both the artist and I were extremely proud of. If you’re looking to bring your production to that same level of clarity, emotion, and polish, I’d love to collaborate and help you get your track release-ready.
    uniE608 Jack Colton - Johnson - Mix & Master
My client came to me with a killer blues rock track that had a really cool hybrid vibe—equal parts old-school grit and modern edge. That blend became the driving force behind my approach to the mix. I aimed to strike the right balance between vintage character and contemporary polish, making sure the track felt timeless but still hit hard by today’s standards. One of the bigger challenges in the session came from dealing with noise and bleed in several of the instrument recordings. I applied a combination of surgical noise reduction techniques using iZotope RX and some subtle, creative low-passing—only where it wasn’t destructive to the source—to clean things up while preserving the natural vibe of the performance. Timing was another key focus. The tracks were recorded to loose drums, which can be great for a raw, organic feel, especially in this genre. But in this case, the looseness crossed into territory that felt a bit distracting. I opted for some time alignment to tighten the groove just enough to serve the song without sacrificing its energy or authenticity. In the end, we landed on a mix that felt dynamic, soulful, and emotionally resonant. The client was thrilled with the final result—so much so that he didn’t request a single revision.
uniE608 Not Exact - Say Now, See How- Mix & Master
This project involved mixing and mastering an emo punk rock track for a client who came to me looking to elevate both the impact and emotional energy of their song. From the first listen, I picked up on influences reminiscent of The Used, which immediately made this an exciting project for me to dive into. The session was well recorded and thoughtfully prepped, with clean tracks free of noise or unwanted artifacts. Vocals received light tuning to help them sit more confidently in the mix while still retaining a natural, expressive feel. A major focus of the mix was the drums, which were MIDI-programmed, and bringing them to life was a priority. I worked to enhance punch and realism, adding energy and emotion without sacrificing authenticity. Because the original room sounds were largely unusable, I took a creative approach using carefully selected reverbs and room samples to build a more convincing and engaging drum environment. Although the session itself was relatively small in terms of track count, I leaned heavily into detailed automation throughout the mix to give the song movement, dynamics, and a sense of progression from start to finish. If you have an emo or punk rock track that feels close but not quite there, and you’re looking for help with mixing and mastering, feel free to reach out. I’d love to hear what you’re working on.
uniE608 The Vilchez Brothers - Sick Manson - Mix & Master
My client brought me a strong, fully developed rock track with a clear vision for a darker, more controlled, and spacious sound. They referenced SUUNS for overall tone and depth, while also wanting a layered and processed vocal style similar to another track they had previously worked on. One of the main challenges in this mix was managing density. The arrangement featured multiple layers of guitars, bass, synths, and stacked vocals, which required careful balance to maintain clarity without losing energy. I focused heavily on tightening the low end, controlling buildup in the low-mids, and creating space through depth and stereo placement rather than relying on excessive processing. The vocals required a significant amount of detailed work, including time alignment, tuning, and shaping multiple stacked layers into a cohesive and impactful lead. The goal was to achieve a processed, modern vocal sound while still keeping it natural within the mix. Throughout the process, I worked closely with the client to refine the mix through subtle revisions, enhancing dynamics, presence, and overall impact without compromising the original feel of the track. The final result is a polished, release-ready mix and master that translates well across systems, with tight low end, controlled width, strong vocal presence, and a clear sense of depth.
