Sound Design & Impact Sounds for "The Pirate on the Floor" Documentary Trailer (2024) – In Collaboration with Director Simone Gervasio Description (ready to copy-paste into Twine project detail – English version): In 2024, I collaborated with director and creator Simone Gervasio on the trailer for the documentary "The Pirate on the Floor", now streaming on Amazon Prime Video. As Sound Designer, I handled the complete sound design from scratch, focusing on building powerful impact sounds and enhancing the narrative rhythm and movement of the breakdancing story. I created custom impact effects and layered cinematic percussion to emphasize key moments of tension, energy, and emotional peaks, perfectly synced with the editing and photography. These elements – from deep, resonant hits to sharp percussive builds – were designed to drive the trailer's pace, heighten the sense of motion, and amplify the protagonist's journey without overpowering the visuals. All sounds were built entirely from custom sources and processed layers to ensure authenticity and cohesion, delivering a dynamic, immersive audio experience that supports the motivational tone of the trailer.

For this existing French automotive TV commercial (real brand spot), I completely re-scored and re-designed the entire audio from scratch, replacing the original music and sound with a fully custom composition and sound design tailored to enhance the brand's elegance and French heritage. A key creative decision was to contextualize the vehicle's French identity: as the car drives under the iconic Arc de Triomphe, I introduced French horns (corni francesi) to evoke national pride and cinematic majesty, blending them naturally with the engine growl and city ambiance for a powerful, patriotic moment. The score fuses pure orchestral instrumentation (strings, brass, percussion) with hybrid modern elements (synthesizers, processed layers) to deliver a sophisticated, contemporary cinematic sound – ideal for premium advertising and trailer-like impact. To craft the brand's signature sonic identity, I built a luxurious metallic impact entirely from scratch using a real metallic water bottle as the primary source sound, heavily processed with reverb, EQ, and spatial effects to create a resonant, elegant "whoosh" that underscores the vehicle's motion and refinement. Everything was recreated from zero – no original library or stock sounds used: full custom music composition, sound design, foley, mixing, and final mastering to produce a cohesive, immersive audio experience that elevates the existing visual storytelling.
