I believe great education happens when thoughtful curriculum design, technology, and creativity come together to create meaningful learning experiences.
I am a Lecturer, Learning Experience Designer, and Curriculum Designer with a multidisciplinary background spanning Further Education and HE, Educational Technology, Graphic Design, and Digital Media. My work focuses on designing engaging, inclusive, and authentic learning experiences that help learners develop the knowledge, confidence, and practical skills needed to succeed in education and industry.
I hold a Master’s degree in E-Learning Design and Development, a Postgraduate Certificate in Learning, Teaching and Assessment in Higher Education, a Postgraduate Diploma in Adult and Further Education, and I am a Teaching Council Registered teacher. These experiences have shaped my approach to teaching, combining evidence-informed practice with creativity, accessibility, and learner-centred design.
Throughout my career, I have designed and delivered programmes in Graphic Design, Digital Media, Digital Marketing, Web Design, Photography, Adobe Creative Cloud, and Digital Skills. Alongside teaching, I design curricula, learning resources, authentic assessments, and online learning experiences grounded in Universal Design for Learning (UDL), constructive alignment, and the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (SoTL).
My professional interests include Learning Experience Design (LXD), Instructional Design, Curriculum Development, Educational Technology, Artificial Intelligence in Education, accessibility, assessment design, and digital transformation in Higher Education. I enjoy working at the intersection of pedagogy, technology, and creative practice to develop learning experiences that are engaging, inclusive, and aligned with real-world professional contexts.
Beyond teaching, I continue to develop multimedia resources, educational websites, digital learning materials, and creative projects that support educators and learners. I am particularly interested in collaborating with universities, educational organisations, and industry partners to design innovative learning experiences and contribute to the future of digital education.
I’m always happy to connect with fellow educators, learning designers, researchers, and professionals who share an interest in teaching, curriculum innovation, digital learning, and creative technologies.

Forget Me Not is one of the most meaningful projects in my portfolio because it connects my academic studies, professional experience, personal values and commitment to inclusive digital learning. Although it was developed as a Master’s final year project, its value extends beyond a university submission. It was shaped by my work as a Digital Life Story Coordinator, where I supported people with Down syndrome who were at risk of developing dementia, alongside their families and support staff.
This project also represents an important learning moment in my academic journey. The thesis research and the eLearning development work were completed for different modules. The thesis explored digital life story tools for people with cognitive impairment, while the development module focused on the design and development of educational resources to support staff and families caring for people living with dementia. The research process was challenging and did not go as well as I had hoped, partly because I was still developing confidence and experience as a researcher. However, the eLearning development project was highly successful and achieved 92% of the marks.
Looking back, I can now see the value of both parts of the experience. The thesis taught me important lessons about focus, research design and methodology, while the eLearning project allowed me to demonstrate my strengths in instructional design, multimedia learning, accessibility and meaningful digital education.
Developed in Articulate Storyline, the activity uses a hidden-object format to encourage observation, memory recall, and learner engagement. The game was designed to complement the wider eLearning course content by introducing an interactive, game-based learning element that supports active participation and reinforces key concepts in an accessible and engaging way.
