I’m a software engineer with over a decade of experience building bespoke WordPress websites.
A self-taught software engineer with over a decade of experience building performant, accessible, and maintainable web solutions.
I specialise in WordPress development but have a broad technical background that extends into full-stack JavaScript frameworks, modern DevOps pipelines, and secure, scalable infrastructure.
I thrive both as a hands-on engineer and a collaborative team player. I’ve worked in compact agile pods and large, globally distributed teams, often bridging the gap between technical execution and business objectives. Passionate about learning, I constantly seek new opportunities to grow and refine my expertise.

TSEC had just undergone a major rebrand and needed a website to match their new identity. Bold, immersive, and built to impress. I led the full redevelopment on WordPress, turning their vision into a fast, modern, and easy-to-update site.
As lead developer, I:
The site combines modular page sections, immersive visuals, and smooth animation to tell TSEC’s story — from their 38-year legacy to cutting-edge event solutions. I optimised for speed, SEO, and mobile-first performance.
The launch boosted engagement, increased enquiries, and gave TSEC a site that finally matched their reputation. The client can now keep it fresh and relevant without ongoing technical support.
When every second counts, missed messages aren’t an option. Across 45 stations, full-time and on-call crews were relying on an outdated bulletin system that wasn’t keeping up. Critical updates were slipping through the cracks, and engagement was fading fast. The challenge was clear: build a system that demanded attention and delivered information with absolute precision.
The answer was the Comms Hub, a purpose-built platform designed for speed, clarity, and ease of use. Built as a WordPress PWA with single sign on and optimised for iPads, it required no training and worked instantly for everyone. Communication was personalised based on location and role within the fire service, so every firefighter received only what was relevant to them.
Tracking was built in from the start. Firefighters could mark updates as read, giving leadership instant visibility and reporting on who had seen what. For the client, managing the system was effortless, updates could be scheduled, published, and tracked in just a few clicks.
The results were immediate. Engagement jumped, critical information reached the right people, and the feedback from crews was overwhelmingly positive. The Chief began recommending the platform to other regions, setting the stage for adoption across multiple fire services.
