During my academic journey, completing an apprenticeship degree, I gained an understanding of software architecture across major operating systems, and have developed skills in a variety of programming languages such as HTML, CSS, and C#. I also had the opportunity to acquire hands-on experience in the day-to-day aspects of problem-solving within a large organisation when I worked in the IT department of Blackpool & Fylde College. My role included troubleshooting, fixing devices, and updating software. It also involved instructing other staff members and students in the use of various applications. This honed my technical skills and taught me the importance of effective collaboration and communication within a team. Being an avid gamer, I have an appreciation of not just the functionality of platforms but also their aesthetics. This has led me to pursue an interest in various aspects of digital design and app creation, thus familiarising myself with programs like Adobe CS, Visual Studio, Xampp, Git, Unity and Shopify. Some of this knowledge was self-taught, and I am always keen to learn more to ensure I stay current within such a rapidly progressing industry.
