My name is Beth Turner, and I am a Graphic Designer and Illustrator that has a focus in branding, illustration, user experience and packaging led projects.
I am a recent graduate from Central Saint Martins ‘Graphic Communication Design’, graduating with a First Class Honours. I have experience in the industry from: a collaborative UAL X Two Tribes beer brew, where I designed the series of labels for the product and the promotional p.o.s. bar front; my illustrative and typographic design for Fedrigoni Paper UK’s ‘Fedrigoni 365’ publication for 2024; my streamlining of visual branding communication for freelance creative lead and illustrator Lizzie’s Lines; and creating a brand kit and packaging for start up business (which I can’t divulge about the details quite yet…).
I am diverse and ambitious designer, but I am predominantly looking for work in the fields of branding, strategy, user experience, illustration and packaging visuals. I have a strong work ethic, forever expanding my skillsets and adapting to clients wants and needs. I pride myself in my creative, innovative and quirky style of designing and communication which you can see in my portfolio below:

Every year at Central Saint Martins there is a new Two Tribes speciality brew for the university led Platform Bar. For the 2024 edition I created a series of 3 labels showcasing the university to be used for the product packaging. I also created a custom bar front, which consisted of three 2m long acetate panels, with larger translations of the digital illustrated artwork I designed for the labels.
These screen-printed tea boxes aim to educate a British tea drinker audience on the multi-cultural traditions and heritage that have influence tea culture in Britain today. I used illustrative and humorous story-telling methods to share the historical stories that don’t necessarily showcase the British as there finest, so have been glossed over by existing tea brands.
The boxes allow education to be casually incorporated into the tea drinking process/experience and using playfulness keeps the audience open minded to the stories that depict themes such as class, thieving and colonialism. This required me to explore my interests of using humour, but in a manner that is appropriate for the topics and intentions.
Every year Fedrigoni reaches out to upcoming studios and designers they have selected around the UK to create a designs for their annual calendar publication ‘Fedrigoni 365’. Each designer is given a date and ‘seed word’ to base they’re idea around, which ultimately comes under a whole publication theme, which for this year was ‘opposites’.
In 2024, scouted from my Central Saint Martins Graduation Showcase, I was selected to develop a design for the 8th October under the seed word ‘true’ for the 2025 publication. I had a week to design my edition.
