I’m a graphic designer based in Manchester trained in Preston, where I finished my BA after two years at Goldsmiths in London. I have 17 years professional experience. Visual communication executed with some wit, a play on an idea that emphasises humour and emits a smile are the molecules of my design MO. I worked with a brand that encompasses such elements for over 12 years in a retail environment at Harvey Nichols Manchester.. Working for a luxury fashion brand was a creatively diverse role, marrying the brands ethic with interior graphic schemes, signage, digital and print based advertising and marketing collateral. I used my traditional graphic design skills to clearly architect information and sucessfully create more diverse environmental and way finding graphic design systems. Being a brand guardian attention to detail and hierarchy of information for a piece of in store signage was equally as important as was advertising collateral for an external viewer.
