Gavin Boelens

Greetings, I’m Gavin Boelens, a professional in the realms of sound design, conducting, composition, and musical performance.

Over the past four years, I’ve been deeply engaged in utilizing audio to craft immersive experiences across a spectrum of projects. Proficient in industry-standard software such as Wwise, FMOD, and Unreal Engine 5 MetaSounds, I specialize in developing adaptive audio systems that enrich gameplay mechanics and narrative storytelling.

With over 14 years of dedicated saxophone performance, my musical journey has taken me through a rich tapestry of settings, including chamber ensembles, jazz bands, concert bands, marching bands, and symphonic bands. Notable performances include appearances at prestigious events such as the New Orleans Jazz Festival, Lional Hampton Jazz Festival, Disneyland Park, and Victoria Day Parade.

My expertise extends beyond performance, as I’ve also served as a conductor for gifted ensembles such as the University of Washington Unleashed A-Cappella group, DigiPen Dragon Chorus, DigiPen Chamber Singers, and Eastlake High School String Orchestra.
