I'm a graphic designer who took some time off to be a painter. Working for an arts center, I am skilled at a wide array of design necessities — print ads, artist catalogs, branding, calendars, illustration and more. Lots of print experience, not a lot of web design. Being a painter, my strength is in any kind of visual narrative. I worked for three years as a Graphic Designer for Scottsdale Center for the Arts, in Scottsdale, AZ, then headed to Edinburgh, Scotland for an MFA program. From then on my main income was from my arts practice, but I've been doing just a bit of freelance for the last 20 years, just enough to stay up-to-date on software. Lately I have been illustrating on Procreate and working on generating patterns. I am super consistent and reliable, and I know what a deadline means.
