soloway is a 2.5D deconstructed rhythm game / endless runner that talks about joys and struggles of Ukrainian funk musicians in a playful manner.
The idea behind the gameplay was to raise general understanding of the zeitgeist of Soviet 1960s-1970s and engage audience into further discussion of the topic.
I have participated as the project’s solo designer and developer. My responsibilities included game design pipeline, creation of the game feel, and optimisation of the game to ensure it survives exhibition.
