Onsite Freelance Copywriter in Raleigh, NC, USA

We are looking for a Senior Copywriter to lead our creative marketing content efforts.
Senior Copywriter responsibilities include writing original copy and slogans for advertising campaigns, editing, and proof reading. Maintaining brand consistency and engaging content for our clients’ products .across different print and on-line channels. Along with your application, please submit a portfolio or links to your published work.

Responsibilities

• Research industry-related topics and identify gaps in our content
• Write original copy for print ads or on-line
• Edit and fact-check pieces of content
• Liaise with Designers to enrich text with visual aids, like images and charts
• Shape language and tone used in sales lierature, banners and brochures
• Participate in client briefs and 1:1 meetings with creative and accounts teams.
• Ensure all content is up-to-date

Requirements

• Proven work experience as a Senior Copy Writer or similar role (Product Copy Writer)
• Portfolio of published articles
• Excellent writing and editing skills, with a keen eye for detail
• Hands-on experience with Content Management Systems (e.g. WordPress)
• Solid time-management skills
• Basic keyword search knowledge
