Job Summary
Mediaboom is looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic part-time Junior Graphic Designer to work with its talented and growing creative team on a freelance basis. The ideal candidate enjoys collaborating with other team members to solve problems, deliver beautiful designs across all digital mediums, and is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• B.A. degree in graphic design, web design, or related field
• Solid understanding of design principals
• Proficiency in Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
• You envision interactive processes and understand information architecture
• You possess strong organizational skills and can meet deadlines with ease
• Ability to brainstorm, collaborate and take technical and creative direction
• Excellent communication skills including the ability to articulate creative concepts and rationale
• A positive, hard-working “can-do” attitude, and the ability to multi-task on multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing projects to meet deadlines

Responsibilities

• Create online visual design, including visual concept, typography, and icon design for the web and other interactive platforms
• Work as a member of multiple client teams

Nice to Have
Experience with any of the following:

• Digital Marketing
• Email Marketing
• Social Media Marketing
• Basic understanding of HTML / JS / CSS

The ideal candidate will be passionate about their work and about tirelessly searching for better methods, advancing their knowledge, and pushing technical and creative boundaries.

-This is a part-time / freelance position.
-Part-time means anywhere from 1-2 days a week to up to 5 days a week if needed.
