Design Lead

Designer is needed in Hatfield, United Kingdom.

We are a digital printing company based in Hatfield, Hertfordshire, looking for an experienced lead designer to work with an in-house team and refine our website and branding. The initial task is to update the company identity by reworking the logo, colour pallet and fonts to create strong brand guidelines across web & print.

This is a freelance position - 2 to 4 days a month and you will be required to work alongside 2 in-house staff. The main objective is to oversee the online visuals and message are kept on brand and to make sure the creative strategy is being met. The website is built with Laravel PHP framework and has Nova as the CMS, we have the skill set in-house to build & manage the site & database. We are looking for help to create and maintain a strong identity and recognizable brand.

Skills & Experience skills

• Minimum of 7 years experience with at least two years in a similar role
• Good technical understanding for web design & UX
• Have proven experience for idea generation
• Strong typographic skills and understanding of layout structure
• Strong experience in Adobe Creative Suite, including Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign
• Experience in creating digital assets - imagery/web banners/email header images
• Understanding of brand and corporate guidelines
