Caribbean restaurant logo

I have a logo that I made and would like for it to be improved by a professional. Now, I am no professional so this was just a small effort made by me. In any case, I would like for us to work together on achieving the final design.

I have all of my colors (hex code #s) picked out (provided below).

My business name a Caribbean Themed RestauraThe picture of my original logo design is actually a sun that I added flames to. I believe this will look better from a pro.

The meanings and colors behind my logo are the following:

Black (000000) represents coal used in Jamaican Jerk

Pink (ff0077) represents sweets/sweetness

Red (eb0e0e) represents the colors of flames

Yellow (ffef0a) represents the colors of flames

Orange (ff9e1f) represents the colors of flames

Tan (e6b36c) which is the background represents the flavors and seasoning of Jamaican food.

With that being said, I am interested in hearing your thoughts.
