VFX Artist

Overview of Role

Manticore is looking for a talented VFX Artist with a video game background to join our team. We are creating the next generation of high quality, cross-platform games that bring iconic and beloved characters to life.

DUTIES MAY INCLUDE:

• Collaborate with the art team, game designers, producers & programmers in the creation and implementation of the game’s VFX.
• Contribute to the design and streamlining of VFX tools and development processes.
• Designing and producing a variety of high quality art assets, consisting in majority of VFX (this includes animation and simulations of particles etc).
• Working with Supervisors and Leads to determine the assets/VFX needed for the project.
• Collaborate with environment artists, concept artists, designers, and engineers.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Able to take direction, collaborate, and be a team player.
• Passion for video games!.
• A self-motivated team-player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Keen eye for detail.
• A good background in 3D modeling, lighting, and animation.
• Able to take direction and implement feedback.
