For more than 10 years, Stoney’s Rockin’ Country has become a staple for the country lifestyle 365 days a year. Stoney’s is a country nightclub with line dancing, dance lessons, a DJ, and live country bands. The club features a 2,000-sq. ft hardwood dance floor, 570 square foot stage for dancing and performances along with a state of the art sound system.

Job Tasks

The Audio Engineer works with a variety of equipment, such as digital audio consoles, wedge monitors, IEM systems, wired and wireless microphones, and external signal processing equipment. Responsible for setting up/loading in and providing a professional audio mix on a large format audio system. Required to connect cables, speakers, microphones, mixing boards and other related equipment. If a band brings their own engineer you are responsible for helping set up and tying them into our system. Strike all equipment at the end of the show / event. Also be responsible for reporting equipment problems.

Job Requirements

• Ability to properly mix both IEM & stage monitor mixes.
• Knowledge of microphone types and usages.
• Complete working knowledge of Equalization, frequency adjustment, compression, gating and gain structures.
• Strong Organizational and time management skills with the ability to follow through on instructions without supervision.
• Ability to multitask, handle frequent interruption and maintain a high level of productivity.
• Ability to adapt to changing situation in a calm and professional manner.
• Strong customer service skills and professional manner to successfully interact with a diverse group of performers of various skill levels.
• Positive, approachable attitude, open mindedness, and the ability to collaborate.
• Able to work under pressure and adhere to strict deadlines, show start and stop times.
