Role: Linux Audio Engineer

Type: Contract

Duration: 3 to 6 mos

Location: Silicon Valley, CA

Qualifications Required:

• 5+ years’ experience working on Native framework (OpenCore/GStreamer or similar) experience.
• 5+ years’ experience working on Linux or RTOS focusing on Audio drivers bring-up and debugging.
• 7+ years’ experience in embedded software development.
• BA/BS is required.
• MS or higher is preferred.

Skill Sets Required:

• Strong C/C++ knowledge.
• Experience in bringing-up audio decoders/encoders, and designing audio subsystem from basic with keen eye to buffer management design, memory protection, DRM, latency etc.
• Familiarity with one or more Audio protocols: I2S, I2C, TDM, SPI
