Role: Linux Audio Engineer
Type: Contract
Duration: 3 to 6 mos
Location: Silicon Valley, CA
Qualifications Required:
- 5+ years’ experience working on Native framework (OpenCore/GStreamer or similar) experience.
- 5+ years’ experience working on Linux or RTOS focusing on Audio drivers bring-up and debugging.
- 7+ years’ experience in embedded software development.
- BA/BS is required.
- MS or higher is preferred.
Skill Sets Required:
- Strong C/C++ knowledge.
- Experience in bringing-up audio decoders/encoders, and designing audio subsystem from basic with keen eye to buffer management design, memory protection, DRM, latency etc.
- Familiarity with one or more Audio protocols: I2S, I2C, TDM, SPI
