BACKGROUND

The KWI account team seeks a freelance SharePoint Developer to work regular hours to work on the development, creation, and revision of controlled documentation in accordance with client policies and procedures.

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Create and modify SharePoint Site Collections, Site pages, Apps, and extensions using the Power Platform tools and SharePoint SPFx Framework
• Participate in the testing process through test review and analysis
• Work with project stakeholders daily
• Develop Site Collections, Site Pages and SharePoint Apps by performing requirements analysis and information needs; conferring with stakeholders and IT Management; studying systems flow, data usage, and work processes
• Perform using software development fundamentals and processes, debug, test, and deploy software solutions
• Implementation of Power Platform and SharePoint Framework based workflows as well as development of Business Intelligence dashboards

QUALIFICATIONS

KWI seeks a freelance SharePoint Developer with 2 to 3 years of professional experience.

DEMONSTRATED EXPERIENCE IN:

• Prioritizing tasks and effectively managing time
• Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, JSON, SharePoint Framework, and SharePoint Site Collection/Site Design
• Experience as a SharePoint Developer in the analysis, design, hands-on development and delivery of client-side web-based applications
• Experience using JavaScript and/or TypeScript
• Experience with SharePoint’s application services framework including implementation, configuration, and usages of Search and Managed Metadata

RESOURCES

The freelance SharePoint Developer will be required to use the same systems, software and resources as the KWI account team.

HOURS

The freelance SharePoint Developer will work a variable number of hours per week contingent upon projects and will need to be available by video chat or phone for team and client meetings when required during standard working hours.

EXPENSES & PAYMENT

KWI will reimburse the freelance SharePoint Developer for direct expenses incurred to complete the work, including photocopying, printouts, couriers and postage. The freelance SharePoint Developer will not incur any expenses without express written permission from a designated contact from KWI. KWI will pay the freelance SharePoint Developer according to the terms stipulated in the contract, which are to be determined.

The freelance SharePoint Developer will safeguard any and all confidential information about KWI and its clients, employees and other individuals and organizations associated with KWI and received during the course of this freelance work for KWI.
