Actress is needed in Montreal, Canada.

I am looking for a dedicated female actress aged 60 years or older for a short film. I have a character-based approach to directing, and I hope to collaborate with my actors to get the most real, authentic performance possible. To give you an idea of where I’m coming from, my biggest inspiration is John Cassavetes. You will be working alongside a young male (25).

Synopsis:
Newly widowed Marie is a cheerful yet disillusioned intellectual. It’s her birthday, and she orders an escort to her apartment. What follows is a heartwarming, funny, and awkward encounter between two friendly strangers.

***There will be no nudity required.

The shoot will be 3-4 days, about 4 hours a day. Hours will be flexible depending on what we get done.
