Job Type: Seasonal (40 hours per week during the Brewers game season)
Work Hours: Weekends, evenings, and some holidays required
Responsibilities:
- Expand social media content efforts by ideating and executing creative content targeting various demographics, especially growth audiences
- Capture cinematic, high-quality imagery and create creative storytelling in real-time, including game coverage and editing highlights
- Cut and assemble source footage and audio
- Edit in different styles ranging from high-energy hype to quirky, comedic, and documentary storytelling
- Produce high-quality content and problem-solve in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Stay current with content trends and meme culture
- Color correct and grade footage
- Edit, design, and mix audio
- Curate music in various genres
- Collaborate with Content Manager, Director – Video Productions, Editor, and Productions Manager on creative direction and timelines
- Collaborate with motion graphic designers to integrate animation and VFX
- Log metadata and manage a catalog of digital footage and assets
- Encode and share files for use across multiple platforms
- Maintain flexibility in schedule to accommodate pre-planned game coverage
Qualifications:
- Demonstrable video editing and shooting ability with a strong portfolio
- Experience with a range of current camera systems, grip, and lighting equipment
- Relevant experience producing digital video content
- Proficient with Adobe Premiere Pro
- Expertise in TikTok and Instagram, including content trends and technical requirements
- Ability to turn around same-day and real-time edits during games
- Experience with other programs in the Adobe Creative Suite (After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator)
- In-depth knowledge of encoding specs (codecs, containers, bitrates, etc.)
- Motion graphic animation skills are a plus
- 3D design and animation skills are a plus
- Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills
- Strong self-starter and capable of working independently
- Ability to conceptualize ideas and bring them to life
- Strong ability to present creative ideas in a clear and professional manner
- Ability to receive and respond to creative direction
- Ability to work in a highly collaborative team environment
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university OR minimum of three to five years related experience and/or training OR equivalent combination of education and experience
Computer Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office software and Adobe CC software
Language Skills:
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, clients, customers, and the general public
Mathematical Skills:
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume
- Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry
Reasoning Ability:
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
Physical Demands:
- Ability to use hands to finger, handle, or feel and talk or hear
- Ability to reach with hands and arms
- Occasional standing, walking, sitting, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling
- Occasional lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds
- Specific vision abilities required, including close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and ability to adjust focus
Work Environment:
- Regular exposure to outside weather conditions, including heat, cold, and various forms of precipitation
- Occasional exposure to moving mechanical parts
- Moderate noise level in the work environment
