Job Description:

Original Equipment Manufacturer in Woodstock, New York, specializing in the development of innovative tools and equipment, is looking for an experienced and creative Graphic Designer/Production Artist to join our team. You will be designing a wide variety of marketing materials across digital and print media. To be successful in this position, you need to be creative, hard-working, dynamic, and capable of working independently and within a team.

Responsibilities:

• Create, design, and edit all types of marketing materials including flyers, catalogs, print/digital ads, packaging, faceplates, image editing, line drawings and 3D renderings.
• Follow company branding and Project Manager instructions to ensure proper design elements are implemented.
• Interpret edits from various department heads to finish projects on time.
• Review final layouts and suggest improvements when necessary.
• Process files accordingly for print and online publications.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience
• Expert knowledge of all the Adobe Suite programs (Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator).
• Effective time management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
• Able to give and receive constructive criticism.
• Attention-to-detail – perfectionists are most welcome.
• Understanding of marketing, production, website design, corporate identity, product packaging, die lines and print-ready files, advertisements, and multimedia design.
• Experience with Computer Aided Drafting (CAD) programs like SolidWorks a major plus
