About Us: Just Love Designing LLC is a graphic design business specializing in designing toy catalogs for Specialty Toy Retailers. We are dedicated to providing high-quality design solutions that engage and inspire young minds. As a leader in our industry, we strive to bring creativity and imagination to life through our catalog designs. We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic Graphic Design Intern or freelancer to join the team for July and August.

Job Description:

We are looking for someone with graphic design experience to assist our team in designing engaging toy catalogs and creating captivating social media posts. You will work closely with a team of experienced graphic designers in a professional design environment. This paid position will allow you to gain valuable experience in the graphic design industry, specifically in toy catalog design. Further, we provide the opportunity to work in a dynamic in-person environment, and for professional growth potential for future employment.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the design team to develop visually appealing layouts for toy catalogs.
• Utilize Adobe Creative Suite, specifically InDesign, knowledge of print is a plus
• Assist in the creation of social media posts that effectively promote the business on Facebook and Instagram
• Implement design tasks and ensure all projects are completed within given deadlines.
• Support the team in various design-related tasks as needed.

Requirements:

• Either enrolled in a college-level Graphic Design program or has equivalent experience.
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
• Strong design skills and typography with a keen eye for detail.
• Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with team members.
• Basic knowledge of print processes and file preparation for print production is a plus.
• Familiarity with social media platforms and the ability to create engaging content.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Follows directions from the art director.
• Be comfortable with working tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Has the ability to switch between multiple projects easily.
