The Role:
You will be supporting the Founder in the production of bespoke events, managing behind the scenes as the size, scale and frequency of opportunities continues to grow.
Our Founder will have a very clear idea on the creative direction and the likes and dislikes of the clients but requires a right-hand person to pull it all together to remain one step ahead for the client and one meeting ahead.
You’ll be an all-round events producer that is confident working alone with minimal direction day to day. You must be happy to have a once a week check in with the founder but be responsible for your own workload.
What you’ll be doing:
- Creative design - have excellent understanding of the private party market and support in the production of bespoke events
- Food & Beverage - ensure that F&B is an integral part of the experience and have great knowledge of restaurants, caterers and tasting scenarios
- Production - Create detailed proposals and brief production teams and suppliers of clients needs
- Venues - source local venues and hidden gems across Manchester and London
- On site - Coordinate site visits and work alongside on site events manager in planning logistics for inside and outside events
- Budgets - Input a budget to correct profit margins, purchase orders and reconcile entire budgets
- Client liaison - take minutes in meetings and delegate actions according to clients needs and think of magic touches to build deep relationships and exceed client’s expectations
What you’ll bring to the role:
- Strong event planner/ production background in corporate and/or private parties
- Ability to handle own workload and manage a project end to end
- Attention to detail
- Current driving license
- Ability to travel around the UK & Overseas
- Flexible approach to working hours as events may take place on evenings and/or weekends
