Trident Digital Media - Junior Video Editor
Trident Digital Media is looking for a freelance junior video editor to join its growing team and help create informative, entertaining content for its popular YouTube channel WrestleTalk which provides daily news coverage of professional wrestling, as well as producing content across its growing network of channels covering wrestling, board games, cinema, and video games.
Essential Requirements:
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, simple After Effects, and Photoshop. Knowledge of the rest of the Adobe Creative Suite would be a plus.
- Ability to work quickly but accurately and meet tight deadlines.
- Creativity and a good sense of humor to expand upon ideas in video scripts and visualize them.
- A working knowledge of and interest in professional wrestling is a must. A love for cinema, board games, and video games is not essential but preferred.
- Experience and interest in camerawork, lighting, and sound recording is mandatory.
- Able to work in our East London office from Tuesday to Saturday. As the role involves being in the studio, there is no WFH flexibility.
- Receptive to feedback and able to work alone or as part of a team.
We’re looking for a creative and imaginative up-and-coming editor with a comedic flair and experience editing in a YouTube friendly style. As the editor for the Wrestletalk News it will be your responsibility to deliver funny, informative, and kinetic edits on a tight daily deadline to an audience of over 800,000 subscribers. With that in mind, we are looking for someone who strives for efficiency, is able to think quickly, and execute with attention to detail. Subject knowledge is key to bringing out the best in the onscreen personalities, so an ideal candidate would have a keen interest in wrestling, and an interest in board games, video games, and general geek/pop culture, which our other channels cover, would also be a plus. We’re specifically on the lookout for candidates with experience in camerawork as the show requires light camera duties for daily shoots as well as more complex sketch and segment filming on an intermittent basis.
Location:
London. We have offices based in Hackney Wick and would be looking for candidates who can work in the office Tues-Sat.
Hours:
Tues-Sat/9am-5pm
