Job Description:

G SOUL INC, a leading creative agency, is looking for talented and energetic creative graphic designer. We are an early stage, entrepreneurial company. The right candidate will be comfortable working with a small team in a fast-paced environment and be able and willing to hustle, respond well to changes, and help move projects forward to meet the company’s goals despite obstacles. You must have a good balance of “doing things right” (quality, experience) and thinking outside the box/flexibility.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborating with stakeholders that often can include: executives, product management and engineering to define and implement innovative solutions for the product direction, visuals and experience
• Executing all visual design stages from concept to final hand-off to developers
• Conceptualizing original ideas that bring simplicity and user friendliness to complex design roadblocks
• Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows, and sitemaps to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas
• Present and defend designs and key milestone deliverables to peers and executive level stakeholders
• Conduct user research and evaluate user feedback, as requested
• Establish and promote design guidelines, best practices and standards
• Work with the G SOUL INC’s Creative Director to create stunning website designs and mock-ups across our brand
• Play a key role in the design lifecycle, from brief through to design and release/implementation
• Ensure all designs work across all browsers and on all devices
• Help to design elements of mobile apps, as requested
• Produce designs and graphics for HTML email newsletters, mini-sites, and social media marketing
• Work with copywriters to ensure all content produced works with the overall design of G SOUL INC’s website
• Ensure all designs produced deliver great user experience remembering that simplicity is essential

Skills Required:

• Competency with Photoshop, Illustrator and the whole Adobe Creative Suite
• Experience using Sketch
• A minimum of 1-3 years of experience in designing and developing websites and apps
• A good understanding of HTML and CSS although actual development skills are not required
• A strong portfolio which demonstrates a range of work and techniques
• A passion for strong web design that delivers a great user experience
• A good understanding of the latest web design trends
• Experience with responsive design
• Excellent visual design skills with sensitivity to user-system interaction
• Ability to present your designs and sell your solutions to various stakeholders.
• Up-to-date with the latest UI trends, techniques, and technologies
• Strong attention to detail
• Creative flair
• Ability to digest a brief with minimal information and transform it into a formal concept using personal experience and judgement
• Asian languages (Chinese or Korean) skill will be a big plus.
