Description
As our Video Editor – Part-Time, you will be a key member of the Creative Services team, assisting with editing and post-production work on the Trail Blazers documentary series, The Trail. In this role, you will help shape and refine the visual narrative of the series. You will also help to organize and manage footage, assemble rough cutes, and execute editing revisions based on feedback.
Our ideal candidate for this role will have strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and strong proficiency in Adobe Premiere editing. If you’re a strong collaborator who is passionate about video editing and creating compelling content, we want to hear from you!
DAY-TO-DAY:
- Sort, label, and catalog video assets in an organized and easily retrievable manner on the internal shared storage system.
- Maintain a well-structured file organization structure to assist in finding game highlights, interviews, and other media needed for the series.
- Collaborate with the Senior Editor and other members of the Creative Services team to develop creative and compelling storylines for The Trail.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, adhering to tight deadlines and prioritizing tasks effectively to ensure timely delivery of high-quality video content.
- Stay up to date with the latest video editing techniques, software, AI advancements, and industry trends to enhance production quality and efficiency.
- Incorporate feedback from key stakeholders and make revisions and improvements to rough cuts.
- Assist with sub-titling, color grading, audio design, and rendering final versions.
- Assist with organization and delivery of final files.
WE’D LIKE TO HEAR FROM YOU IF YOU HAVE:
- At least three (3) years of experience in video editing.
- Advanced proficiency in editing software such as Adobe Premiere.
- Familiarity with other Adobe platforms such as Encoder and Audition. A working knowledge of After Effects is helpful.
- A creative and forward-thinking approach
- Strong organizational skills.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills with the flexibility to work within a rapidly changing environment.
- Strong time and resource management skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including game nights, evenings, weekends, and holidays when needed.
