Location: Chesapeake, United States

Contract: Part Time

Responsibilities:

  • Create, present, and revise content, based on direction given by External Relations Manager, CEO, and senior management, for all integrated marketing materials, including all collateral for Art Auction and other special events, annual report/impact report, invitations, brochures, newsletters, and tour packets.
  • Collaborate with External Relations Manager, CEO, and senior staff to execute and implement new ideas.
  • Responsible for the execution of design and production for outbound campaigns and events.
  • Manage production of all collateral including bid process, print and mail deadlines.
  • Maintain brand consistency in all marketing materials across the agency.
  • Maintain up-to-date filing system of all work products in SharePoint, including sponsor logos in all formats received, all Adobe files for each project, as well as final pdfs and image files.
  • Exercise discretion and confidentiality in all professional settings.
  • Assist with brand campaigns and shaping brand standards.
  • Adhere to ForKids privacy policy.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Customer Service:

  • Provide service to internal and external customers according to standards as outlined in ForKids Customer CARE Manual.
  • Regularly engage, support and collaborate with volunteers to provide meaningful experience.

Financial Management:

  • Use agency resources (financial and non-financial) prudently.
  • Acknowledge and follow financial policies of the agency.

Community Engagement:

  • Participate in development and fundraising activities as needed and requested (ex. Meeting with donors, providing tours, attending fundraising events).

Education and Experience:

Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field. Demonstrated experience in marketing and graphic design.

Essential Functions, Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

  • Excellent project management, organizational and interpersonal skills as they pertain to managing initiatives.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Self-motivated and disciplined to regularly set and achieve work goals.
  • Demonstrated ability to take primary responsibility for diverse number of projects and to complete them in a timely manner with limited supervision.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Create Cloud products including InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop.
  • Ability to work in a team setting.
  • Valid driver’s license with no more than three minor driving violations and/or accidents combined within the last three years, and no major moving violations in the past five years.
