Social Media Manager is needed in Skokie, United States.

Location: Skokie, United States

Contract: Part Time

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement social media strategies to increase brand awareness and engagement
• Manage all social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok
• Create and curate engaging high quality content (within brand standards) for social media posts, including graphics, and reels
• Monitor social media trends and stay up-to-date with industry best practices
• Analyze social media metrics and provide regular reports on performance
• Engage with followers, respond to comments and messages in a timely manner
• Stay informed about the latest trends in social media, advertising, and digital marketing
• Shoot content in store once or twice weekly
• Collaborate with Store Mgr and Social Media Coordinator to create a monthly social media schedule

Qualifications:

• Proven work experience as a Social Media Manager or similar role
• In-depth knowledge of various social media platforms and their respective audiences
• Strong understanding of advertising principles and techniques on social media platforms
• Proficient in proofreading and editing content for clarity, grammar, and style
• Familiarity with SEO principles to optimize content for search engines
• Proficiency in Canva and Lightroom
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
