Job Description

MP Smarter Travel is seeking a freelance Graphic Designer to support our team in project delivery. The designer will be responsible for creating on-brand, accessible, and engaging materials for both print and digital media. The main project involves designing child-friendly walking route maps for a North London Borough, which will need to be printable and available in an interactive online format. The designer will work collaboratively with senior project managers and clients, attending regular online meetings.

Additional support will also be needed for various projects, including producing banners, leaflets, project branding, and community maps.

Requirements

• **Essential Requirements:**Professional-grade digital graphic design skills
• Availability for the full project duration (January 2024 - August 2024)
• Access to your own digital design tools (e.g., Photoshop)
• Knowledge of building geographically accurate maps using OpenStreetMaps or equivalent
• Knowledge of building online interactive maps
• Experience preparing documents for print
• Good time management
• Attention to detail
• Experience working collaboratively with clients
• **Desirable Requirements:**Working under a limited liability company or registered as self-employed
• Child-oriented graphic design experience
