Job Description:

We are looking for a highly skilled full-stack web developer to join our dynamic team. You will be responsible for developing and improving an e-commerce platform that offers an array of car cover products. We need someone who is not only proficient in both front-end and back-end technologies but is also experienced with database management, server configuration, and security protocols.

Key Technologies:

• Backend: Node.js with StrapiCMS
• Frontend: React.js with Next.js
• Database: Heroku PostgreSQL
• Back End (Server/DB) Hosting: Strapi Cloud
• Front End (Client) Hosting: Vercel
• CDN: Cloudflare
• Caching: Vercel
• Data format: JSON
• Security: HTTPS (SSL/TLS)

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop highly interactive, user-friendly web applications.
• Design and implement robust backend APIs.
• Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
• Implement security measures to safeguard the website and user data.
• Optimize the website for speed and scalability.
• Set up and manage databases.
• Configure server and deployment environments.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of full-stack development experience.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, particularly Node.js and React.js.
• Experience with Next.js is a must.
• Familiarity with PostgreSQL.
• Knowledgeable in configuring Nginx server environments.
• Experience with CDN solutions, specifically Cloudflare.
• Proficiency in data caching, preferably with Vercel.
• Strong understanding of JSON data format.
• Demonstrated understanding of SSL/TLS protocols and HTTPS security.
• Excellent debugging and problem-solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.

Bonus Points For:

• Previous e-commerce experience.
• SEO expertise, specifically URL structure optimizations.

Additional Information:

Job Types: Contract, Temporary

Pay: $30.00 - $60.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Compensation package:

• 1099 contract
