Job Description

The Social Media role is responsible for creating a social media strategy and plan of activity to increase visibility and grow the following of the company’s social channels. This role involves managing and developing social media channels, creating engaging content, community management, and analyzing social media trends and performance.

Requirements

• 1+ year’s experience working in a social media role (essential)
• Degree in Marketing or Social Media qualification (desirable)
• Extensive knowledge of Social Media Platforms (essential)
• Ability to edit videos/images (essential)
• Proficient in Google Business Workspace (desirable)
• Proven track record in social media content creation and/or social media content management

Main Responsibilities

• Manage all company social media accounts
• Plan content calendars for social media
• Schedule and publish content across social platforms
• Produce engaging content (image and video) in line with brand guidelines
• Develop hashtag strategy to drive brand exposure
• Develop campaign and content ideas that align with the brand
• Monitor and respond to social media comments
• Grow user-generated content for website, email, and ad campaigns
• Analyze social media activity and monitor competitor activity
• Potentially develop and manage an influencer program

Additional Information

The role requires confidence in working with jewellery makers to capture content as well as the ability to edit content inline with brand guidelines. Planning and adaptability are also essential skills for this role.
